AP Furtado's TWEEN returns to the web

TWEEN is back and showing off its new digs at http://www.tweencomix.com. Starting this Friday May 16th and every Friday after that TWEEN will be spreading joy and much love throughout the webcomics landscape once again! The “BAD MOJO” saga will pick up right where it left off seven months ago. Sheesh! Seven months ago!?

All the old strips are resting comfortably in the archives so stop by early and get your selves caught up! Don’t forget…a new episode starts this Friday!

Why hello there!

I'm new here. ^_^ I just wanted to say hi, but I suppose I could try to come up with something more worthwhile to say, as well.

Since this IS the "Coffee Haus," I'll pose this topic: Coffee.

Who likes it, who doesn't? Who drinks it, or who goes straight to the point and takes caffeine pills?

Me, I mostly like coffee in the winter; I need it for the warmth, and to keep me going in the cold grey northwest weather. I like vanilla flavored coffee, but I'm not particular; except, I can't take it just black. >_< Eh...it's too bitter.

PULSE Reports Adventure Strips to Shut Down

Short article reporting on coming shutdown of Adventure Strips this month and some further explanation from publisher Joey Manley. Manley has published a note on the Adventure Strips website, providing further information on this business decision.

Greg Dean Leaves KeenSpot

Greg Dean, writer and artist of the widely-popular strip "Real Life" (http://www.reallifecomics.com) has left KeenSpot for another hosting service called "ColoGuys" which currently hosts Megatokyo, MacHall, and Little Gamers. More from Greg on the Real Life website:

I've been contemplating a move for a long while. I know what you're probably thinking, and no... it's not because of issues with KeenSpot. KeenSpot has been very good to me, and they are a wonderful organization. I wish them the best of success. However, for almost a year, I've had in mind some ideas for business ventures that will bring Real Life from what it is now, to the possibility of a full-time job for me. I just wanted to take the future of the comic into my own hands, and this is the first step.
