Lettering the Comicraft Way


The Pulse has a chat between two editors of an upcoming book on lettering: Comic Book Lettering, The Comicraft Way. The book is described as "crammed with digital lettering how-to's, illustrated by artists including Ian Churchill, Stuart Immonen, Ladronn and Brian Bolland."

The book is scheduled to be available in stores in early June.

This time of year brings much dread for thousands of students around the world, exams. But there is light at the end of the tunnel in the form of hilarity. Presenting BRUCE SCHWARZ: DOUBLE-O SLACKER, by Zack Smith and Victor Gomez, an adventure in Mexico like none you have ever seen.

Victor Gomez is an up and coming artist - this is his first work with Next Comics. Zack Smith writes for Slush Factory, NinthArt, Savant, Opi8 and PopImage. He is currently studying journalism and developing several ideas for miniseries.
