A new comic has just begun at Ataraxia Theatre: Sonja Turbot, Existential Investigator. If that doesn’t catch your interest then you have no soul. Congratulations!
My Cardboard Life new at Transplant
Submitted by Ataraxia on January 10, 2009
Transplant Comics is pleased to announce our newest member: My Cardboard Life by Philippa "The Juzzard" Rice. Many webcomics feature characters who are two-dimensional, but in this one it's the entire world. Meet a little boy made of cardboard, a little girl made of paper, and a polar bear made of some kind of fibrous material.
My Cardboard Life updates several times a week. Transplant Comics is an online community and the world's leading researcher in forbidden webcomic science.
You can be my Martian Honey
Submitted by Ataraxia on November 24, 2008
There's a new short story this week at Ataraxia Theatre: Martian Honeys. It's the tale of four university students on their way to Mars for spring break, the fascination Earth men have with alien women, and the things you can learn if you read the damn guide book ahead of time.
Martian Honeys was created as an eight hour comic: eight pages in eight hours with no pre-preparation. I failed at the challenge, but finished the story later on. The title is taken from the song "Lovely Day" by the Pixies.
Everybody wants Jesus Monies

Just in time for election day, Box Brown (of Bellen! fame) has started a brand new socio-political webcomic: American't. Watch as he unleashes the full force of his personal observations and absurdist humor at the loins of the American body politic. Learn the true motivation behind the gay agenda. It's fun and educational at the same time!

Submitted by Ataraxia on September 23, 2008
I'd like to thank all the guest artists who have allowed me to continue Mischa's Story in these first weeks after the birth of my son. From left to right, top to bottom, you can see the work of Matt Sandbrook, Roman Wunderlich, Leah Chamblee, Hajra Helac, Joseph Hewitt (me), Michael May, Xia Moua, Francisco Muñoz, and Ladene Kosaka. They are truly gods among cartoonists, each and every one.

Shayna Marchese's literary strip Voids enters part 8 this week. Andrew's book of horror stories has been released, and Sara just woke up in a graveyard. Is there a meaning to this coincidence?
New website for Ben and Ellen
Submitted by Ataraxia on September 08, 2008
Like baby birds who spread their wings and leave the nest, so too do webcomics grow up and leave their free hosting sites. Bellen!, the story of Ben and Ellen and the things they do, has just moved to new digs at boxbrown.com. Drop by and say hello.
Box Brown has been described as the rising webcomic star of 2008. He's also been described as "cute and chubby" by people who are supposedly in a position to know.
