So, Adam Watson got me these blank Russian Nesting Dolls for my birthday, five glorious little figures just waiting for me to mar them with ham-handed globs of paint. The thing is now that I have to figure out what I'm going to do by way of decorating them.

My original plan was an all-MODOK series of Nesting Dolls, one MODOK inside another, or failing that a bunch of Kirby's more delectably outre Marvel villains - Galactus followed by MODOK followed by Doctor Doom and so on. My girl came up with what I think is, hands-down, the best idea: Rasputins, each of them murdered in a different way (The one on the outside is poisoned, then the next one is shot, then the next one is stabbed, until you get to the drowned one in the middle).

I was also thinking of just doing assorted original monsters all the way in. Frankly, there are a million choices. Or at least four, to wit:
