Fabricari Graphic Novel Completed

The last page of the webcomic graphic novel, Fabricari: Ad Hoc has been posted. Considering most of it was written and drawn improvisationally, we're really happy with how it turned out. Adam White and I will be working on an assortment of new projects over the next year, to be announced in the fabricari.com blog. Thanks to everyone in this community who helped with encouragement and advice. It's been one massive learning experience.

Congratulations! Despite the tasteless jokes about sound effects etc. during Sketchbattle, I actually love your work :)

Thanks, Gianna! Sketchbattle was lots of fun, so no harm there at all. :D

Thanks, I'm celebrating by taking time to do things that drawing comics hadn't allowed, like rotting my brain on tv, dvds, and actually taking time to read a book or two!

Bill, I think it'd be much harder to break away from Fabricari if I had the kind of audiance some webcomics have. I am so greatful for the audiance that I did have, they have been very loyal and encouraging - without whom I might not have had the motivation to get through to the end of this.

This project was started with the simple goal to just "do" a graphic novel. The next one will be with the goal to "do one right." In the short term I'll be drawing a few short stories while I work on the script. It's hard to stick to a project much longer when you know you're not putting out your best work.

Good job, man. Glad to see you never gave in to the "Must never end this comics so everyone will love m,e forever" mind-set

Wow! Congratulations,

Wow! Congratulations, Steve! Being barely half-way through mine (and with less than a quarter so far online), I can hardly imagine the sense of achievement that must bring!

Break out the champagne - you've earned it!
