Black and Latino Kids Save The World !! Really!

Hey everyone,
This is my first post and I am new at this. I want to introduce my new webcomic Sentinel at www.sentinelcomic.com. It is a Sci-Fi story about a group of kids in the Bronx (thats where I grew up), who encounters a robot sent from space to warn the Earth of an impending invasion. On the way to earth it was met by an enemy force. The sentinel greatly out powered, splits into four different beings as it's committed to carrying out its mission. How will they be able to warn those of the dangers ahead? How do they overcome culture and language so that they can communicate with those they meet? How will they find each other?
The inspiration for this story partly was based on the Gigantor cartoon. Seeing Jimmy Sparks use his remote box to call on Gigantor whenever trouble was around was a source of good fun when I was a kid. I am also a fan of Star Trek and admire the complexities of the various characters. The development of the characters in Sentinel were paramount.
Webcomics usually do not include inner-city kids or the county of the Bronx as the backdrop, but this one does. Young readers will experience what it’s like to interact with one outside of their surroundings and discover how to solve the problems they now face. What will these children imprint on these sentinels? It will be interesting to see.
