looking for a decent webcomic engine

Hi there, i'm new here!
I've been reading forums for a while, but I could not find answer for my needs. I'm thinking of starting a webcomic, mostly for my own entertainment, but i do not wish to go with some all the png-s on one page thing, more like a well established webcomic engine, the layout of which i could change over time. I'm terrible with html, php, any anything code related, and i would like to ask you guys if you could give me any examples, what to use and why. I'd like something with automated uploading/updating feature. That is my main priority. It would be nice to have a posting part too, main page maybe.. I might make it big one day. Wish I could praise these forums for helping me out. :) Thank you very much.

Have you tried www.webcomicsnation.com? They might have exactly what you are looking for.

WCN has a pay and a free option.
There's also Comic Genesis and DrunkDuck and probably others too that offer free hosting and webcomic tools. Much easier than setting up a script yourself actually.

On second thought, let's not go to Comixpedia. It is a silly place.
I run this place! Tip the piano player on the way out.

You could try the very easy and quick to set-up Comicpress plug-in for Wordpress or some older scripts include ATP (php) and AutokeenLite (perl).
