Greetings there.

I'm Miguel Estrugo, and this is the fiorst message I post on this board. I've been drawing an online strip named Alice Otter, since 2001, so that kinda qualifies me as a webcartoonist.

However, Alice isn't my first webcomic attempt, and I'm sure it won't be the last. I've been trying to release an online strip since 1996, and failed miserably. I also keep some other projects to do stuff online on the shelf, waiting to be developed from me. I also have published some stuff on paper, and they printed a couple of comics by me on Moderntales' Longplay series.

So, uh, that's my artistical resume. I hope I contribute positively to these forums. See you later. :)

Hi!

I'm Pepius, and I'm supposed to be a webtoonist too, although the only thing people look at in my page is the gallery...

Anyway, I think you should include your URL in your sig, so anyone willing to pay a visit doesn't have to google you (just a suggestion)

Aaaaaaaaand, that's it!
¡Hasta luego chavalote!

Miguel, I love Alice Otter - the artwork is superb. I'm glad you posted the link as I lost it some time ago (did you change domain or something?). I'll catch up with your strips as soon as I have a moment.

Thanks to everybody for the warm welcome. And now, my reply on a nutshell.

First, apologies if the link to Alice Otter's site on my first message went unnoticed. The links you post on this forum are hard to notice, but, if you pass your mouse over the words "Alice Otter" on my first message, you'll find the URL. But let me repeat it so it's clearer: http://www.aliceotter.com :)

And now, special thanks to Steve for praising Alice Otter. :> And yes, I've been bouncing from an URL to another, but I've finally settled down these problems and going to continue drawing Alice Otter for a while more.

Anyway, if I wasn't so damm lazy, I'd draw the strip more often. After 2 years and a half, I've only drawn 86 strips. And that's almost exclusively my fault.... I'll try to take Alice Otter more seriously in the future.

I don't think you have to apologise. You should do the strip at the pace you enjoy or it may suffer if you feel there's a lot of pressure on, even if that pressure is self-imposed.

I'd add "as long as that pace is stable"

I prefer a regular weekly comic than a "supposedly" threeweekly one like MacHall, which makes youcheck for nothing

Hey, I do that all of the time. I like to see the hopeful check my site every few weeks while I sit there and laugh and laugh at their innocence.

You're evil (o`_´)o

I won't give you gummy pie (o^-^)o
