Seeing as this is an open event with no prizes being offered, does anybody... uh... care if people are late? I've had a few requests, and a few extensions I've granted due to ligitimate mitigating circumstances.
I just wanted to throw this out, because there's a very valid "I busted my ass to get this in on time for this event, and I don't want people that didn't make the deadline to be included."
Just sort of vetting the crowd to see if anybody feels strongly that way. Me, I have enough on-time entries to sequence up to Wednesday, and would be happy to keep accepting submissions until I reach the point that there's nothing left to put up the next day.

I say yes, keep accepting them if they come in -- at least from those who were registered to begin with.
People who spontaneously decide to join now may not be such a good idea, though, as that *would* seem more unfair to those who did take the time to sign up and prepare in the first place?

Hmm. As I said in the groupmail this evening, my e-mail has been a bit flaky of late. Make sure you're not on the schedule I sent out tonight, and PM me here if you can't reach me via e-mail. Make sure to include the host address of the comic in your message and I'll slot you in ASAP.
The day job keeps me from responding as quickly as I'd like sometimes, but trust me... if the comic's done, I'll get 'er up there.

I didn't get a groupmail or a reply on the two emails we've sent about the event so far. I'll try the PM as you suggest, while you might consider writing a stern letter to your email host.

I've received a few PMs now and replied to Al, Fenris and goonigoogoo. I'm hesitant to blame my e-mail host because I suspect it's more me being enough of an ape that I can't figure out how to set the "spam alert:" crap that keeps happening.
Anyway, we're getting there by hook and/or crook...
Unfortunately, I was one of those late bums. We were done in plenty of time, but it slipped my mind to send it in until I saw the initial line-up in my in-box. I hope you can see pas my neglectful ways [whimpers, then sobs uncontrollably].
