What are we looking for in a PixelStrips?
We want original and captivating strips from creative teams that really care about their projects. We will look at each strip and decide if it has an audience and how many people it might appeal to. But that doesn’t mean we don’t want cutting edge alternative comics that really challenge the reader. We are dividing strips by genres:
Action/Adventure
Sci-Fi
Horror
Romance
Comedy
Manga
Spiritual
Political Cartoons
Everyday Life
Written Word (no pictures, just words)
The most important thing a PixelStrips art team must be is professional. Comics need to be delivered on a weekly basis. You may have a great idea, but you need to be able to get it to your readers consistently.
Because of the number of submissions that PixelStrips receives it may take a few weeks to hear back from us. Please be patient. If we cannot use your strip we will keep it in case a space opens up. Please remember, we will not be able to send out an email if your strips have not been picked to be on PixelStrips due to the volume of submissions we get.
Please submit sequential art and the concept of your strip to:

RE: PixelStrips: Now Accepting Submissions
Could you tell us more about Pixel Strips?...... is it subscription only? or more like Modern tales where people can kind of read a sample?......right now the website is just a forum.
Thanks for your time and consideration.
Sure. Users will be able to see the daily comics for free, but subscribers can see the archives and be able to access specials, like additional strips reserved for subscribers, downloads, and things like that.
We are accepting submissions now. The site will be going live in the Fall, but I wanted to open the forums for a couple reasons. One, to have a place where people who are working on submission for our site, or any really, to network. The second reason is to build a community around the site and get the ideas flowing about webcomics, comics and a range of topics.
So stop by, even if you aren't looking ot have a strip on the site and sign up and post.
Thanks for your interest and I hope I anwsered all your questions.

Wow! We have gotten some amazing work in and have gone through most of it, but we are still looking for MORE!
We have signed some amazing talent, like the always talented Jim "Kep" Kepplinger! And a few names I can't mention yet!
PixelStrips has a go live date of September 1, so there is still time to submit work. We will be accepting submissions right up till the go live date and after. In fact you can always send us work!
Keep checking the forums for previews of upcoming strips. There is an art preview of my strip "Husk" up now.
So send in you sequentials and the concept behind your strip! We prefer linked art with an emphasis on sequentials. And again...Thanks!
