What are pros and cons of using (non-Paypal) merchant accounts for webcomics?
Any more opinions? I understand that Paypal's more widely used, but that's too obvious an answer.

That silence is quite possibly giving you an answer. Merchant accounts can be expensive to maintain if you don't do a large volume and not many webcomics do that.

um PayPal is probably the most widely available and used.
Pros:
um maybe one day you san say, "Yeah, I used XService before it was the cool thing to do".
