"Directions" offered free in honor of FCBD

So, the other day it was Online Comics Day. According to the site it was reserved for:

On this date online cartoonists from around the globe poke fun at themselves, tear down the fourth wall a bit more than usual, and generally wax self-referential.

I was planning on stretching out the posting of my Bitpass series Directions, with one installment a week, but, given the point of the date, I couldn't ask for a better time to post them. They seem to follow all of the above guidelines, (for better or worse).
So enjoy it (I'll probably leave it up for a week or so) and Happy (belated) Online Comics Day!

Interesting - My Reactions

I thought each piece individually was quite good.  I read them in the order presented and I thought afterwards as if I should have read right before left.  Neil - did you intend for us to read it in a particular order or was the fact that the reader needed to choose the order of up, down, left and right part of your idea with this piece?

I like some of the things going on with the left piece -the click to move to the far right of it - how did you do that?  I also like the flipped text in it and it made me think about other ideas for right to left, like hebrew or other languages that you read that way.

Thanks Xerexes!

No they aren't meant to be read in any particular order. They should work as individual pieces. (and are sold separately on the site)

That being said, they are definently meant to be read together, with an overall set of constraints and themes (and hence the bundled price, too.)

I like some of the things going on with the left piece -the click to move to the far right of it - how did you do that?

I made those links with the ancient art of anchor tags. Remember, these comics are years old. There's probably a ton of better ways to make comics break the top-left webpage rule, I'd probably use Infinite Canvas to make comics like this nowadays.

And hey thanks for the move to the main page, I appreciate it!
