Mitch Clem will be releasing a book collection of the first three years of his comic, "Nothing Nice to Say". Instead of just reprinting the old strips in their current state, however, Mitch has opted to redraw all 200 strips. The book is expected to be released by the end of the year. More information (including new/old art comparisons) can be found on the site.
You know, I'm totally behind you in your desire to redo some of your old comics. Webcomics people are a pretty self-absorbed crowd, and we tend to forget that people "on the outside" don't know the first thing about what's online.
So if you're going to sell to them, you should present a product they'll want to buy.
What I'm curious about is, are the new versions of the strips exclusively for print or will the online archives be updated? And what was the basis for the decision?
Writing about one's self in the third person really is the definition of akward, especially when your name ends up right at the beginning of the piece twice as a result. Le sigh.

Re: Nothing Nice Book in the Works, Creator Completely Insane
It does fit the "creator completely insane" headline though!
I'll tweak it though.

And yes, you can expect things like semi-colons used in place of apostrophes from me as well. That's just how I roll.

It's okay, don't worry about it. It does add to the insanity factor. Thank you, though, for posting my news!

Smart move.
