As I mentioned before, this July I did a guest month for Whitney June Robinson's comic Alma Mater. I had to balance my desire to draw the characters from a couple of comics-within-the-comic, and the need to make the story about the main characters, and came up with the following story.

A couple quick director's commentary-type notes: Basically, the whole reason for this entire story was so I could use that lame Phoenicopter joke that no one probably noticed or understood.  Earlier on, I was planning to do an Aki Alliance crossover, since the two comics exist in the same world, and have each cameoed in each other's comics, but decided that would be too self serving. So I did a Multiplex crossover instead.
